This week I am in Newquay. Having never been before I was not really sure what to expect. What a lovely place!

It was immediately evident to me that I was in a seaside location. Of course the views are truly spectacular, but also the 'vibe' is relaxed and very welcoming. Being by the sea is good for the soul, I love being in nature.

There is definitely something for everyone here. I have never seen so many surfers, or exchanged so many warm hellos with strangers as they passed by. You can get your bucket and spade at the shops (to make your sandcastles), enjoy a meal at the countless delicious cafes and restaurants, and there is something for all budgets!

I wish I had more time to experience some of things on offer from sampling local cornish cider and cornish pastys, seeing the lost gardens of Heligan to visiting the seal sanctuary.

I am here for work this week so it's a flying visit, but I am definitely planning to return in the future with my Hubby to see more of this amazing place.

Cornwall should be on your list if you ever get a chance to visit, lovely place and lovely people.
