Living simply - it’s easy to say, but in practice, not so much.
I have spent quite a bit of time online, reading about having a simple life, some tips make alot of sense, and some sound totally crazy to me.
I have always looked at these tips, videos and blogs with their perfect pictures of beautiful people looking so calm and relaxed, and thought, why can’t I feel like that? Why do I feel like I’m running around like a headless chicken (forgive the super graphic saying) and always feeling a tiny bit out of control?
From everything I have read and watched, I have decided to select a few things to try, to see if they will actually help me to live more simply.
We all want to feel happier, less stressed and like our lives have positive meaning. So let’s see what we can do!
Here are the things I will try for the next month:
1. Simplify my food, cook nutritious meals
2. Simplify my wardrobe
3. Declutter my home
4. Weekly relaxing bathtime
5. Go for a walk outside every day
6. Have one ‘no tv’ night every week
7. Practice daily gratitude
8. Only buy what’s needed
9. Meditate daily
10. Drink more water
11. Make a warm cosy home
