A quick hello from my recent work travels.
I have been to Germany once before and hoped someday I would be able to return. It's a beautiful country, and everyone I have ever met has been truly lovely and very eager to help me. I loved my visit this time and have come away again thinking I must come back on holiday with Campbell and try to travel around the country some more. The architecture in the small villages is so traditional with exquisite details. I would love to see them at Christmas, I bet they are wonderful.
The weather was great and very welcome because Scotland is not having the best start to spring this year. It's been pretty wet!
i also stayed in Belgium this trip. This is my first time visiting Belgium and I stayed just outside Brussels. I stayed in a lovely small region called Tienan. It was very pretty, with nice cafes, shops etc. It's very close to Hoegaarden, which is also famous for its beer.
The historical buildings were amazing and the food was delicious!
I had a great time once again and met some amazing people. Even my taxi driver to the airport on the way home, walked me to my checkin desk to ensure I wasn't late! He was one of many to go our of their way to help me, and make me feel welcomed.
If you ever get a chance, I hope you get a visit 😊
Gorgeous buildings in Einbeck, Germany. They date back hundreds of years and were originally used for making beer (which is still.made there today)!
