Happy valentines day to you all!
My lovely hubby is working away from home this week, but he never forgets to show his love. I received the beautiful flowers you see in the picture.
I also bought a few gifts for him, including an oodie... this may sound like a weird romantic gift, but when you live in Scotland, feeling warm and snuggly is very important!
I am spending the day with Yogi Bear, who is currently beside me wrapped in a blanket with only his paw on show.
I collect Campbell from the airport tomorrow and cant wait to see him. Our home feels empty without him and, of course, the creaky noises at night mean I spend my bedtime routine switching off lights and running to bed so I can hide under the covers 😂
I have spent this week catching up on chores and have had the log burner on everyday as it feels very cold at the moment. I have also made a list of tasks for this year. This list includes, a natural swimming pond (we are having the drainage in our garden checked first), installing a sauna, continuing to finish our bedrooms and laundry and adding more veg beds to the garden.
I really enjoy completing projects and get a great sense of achievement. Projects, gardening and cooking are my real passions.
I hope that whatever your valentines day looks like for you, that you are happy, cosy and have chocolate on hand 😘
