Laundry project

Our latest project was to redecorate the laundry. 

The laundry is a room that was added to the house and it looked like it was afterthought.

We had a washer dryer that decided to stop working properly after two years. It still worked but the dryer took 2 hours to dry one towel (not ideal if you live in Scotland with our lovely rain).

I painted the room a nice fresh green. My intent was to compliment the garden plants and I have to say, I am really pleased with it.

We bought some new brighter flooring and our lovely friend gave us the worktop after I told her the type I was trying to find!

We also invested in a new washer and dryer and what a difference!! They work fantastically well.

I am really pleased with the final result. The room looks fresher, brighter and it's now a welcoming area to come in the house (we have a front door, but always use the laundry (because we park the car just outside it and its right next to the kitchen). 

The project was completed in 4 days, a new record 😁
